UKRAINES is a collective documentary journey through the country and the people at war. From France to Ukraine, smartphones travel from hand to hand, shooting in an innovative double format – using both the front and the back camera of the phone at the same time – both the portrait of the person and what the person sees. First-hand video testimonies and events of everyday life, a diverse panorama of life in wartime. From person to person, passing through exile, despair and resilience, ruins and hope, theater and love, this journey will continue until the end of the war and will take the viewers right up to the frontline where, deep in the forest, a battle of life and death is waged.
